The Myrtle Beach event, billed by the campaign as the “South Carolina You Can Afford” town hall, begins at 10 a.m. According to the campaign, Andrews will take questions from residents about the costs facing their households and outline what she says she would do in the Senate to address them during the Annie Andrews Myrtle Beach Town Hall.

Later in the day, Andrews is set to appear in Charleston at a forum aimed at Republican and independent voters. The campaign said that session will focus on health care costs, gas prices and tariffs.

The campaign did not release a specific venue for the Myrtle Beach event until early a.m. this morning.

Andrews, a pediatrician, won the Democratic nomination on June 9. She faces Republican Sen. Darline Graham, whom Gov. Henry McMaster appointed to serve the remainder of her late brother Lindsey Graham’s term, along with Libertarian candidate Kasie Whitener. Annie Andrews (physician) +2

The race has drawn national attention. Sabato’s Crystal Ball recently shifted its rating toward Democrats, and the Senate Leadership Fund, a PAC aligned with GOP Senate leadership, is putting $5 million into the state to support Graham in the closing weeks. South Carolina has not elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1998. Newsweekibtimes

Early voting in South Carolina runs through Oct. 31, ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
